Our entry into Aquaculture happened in year of 1992, the nascent time of Shrimp and Fish farming in India. At that time there was no pelleted feed, most of feed consumed was mash made using combining raw materials, we saw an opportunity for making pelleted feeds using scientifical methods.

 

In 1994 we started a basic pelleting unit for making Shrimp and Fish feeds for both our farms as well as farms in the neighboring areas. We continued supplying those feeds to local farmers with continuous improvement of process as well as formulations.

 

In 2001 we added and additional Pelleting line to cater the increasing demand.

 

In 2008 by seeing shortage good insulated packaging for sea food we started EPS Box manufacturing unit Coastal Polymers, which makes different sizes of EPS boxes for preserving Different kinds of Fish, Shrimp, Meat, Medicines.

 

In 2010 we improved Coastal Polymers efficiency by Replacing old machines with Imported full automatic lines .That allowed us provide us optimum quality product without manufacturing defects.

 

In 2012 we saw huge advancements in manufacturing feed for Shrimp and Fish Feeds, so it did not make us any sense to upgrade old machinery, So instead we imported high quality Pelleting line for Shrimp and Sinking fish feeds, Extruding line for making Floating Fish Feeds.

 

As we said, all our thinking, our life, our passions are all about Aquaculture; At COASTAL it’s all about the “AQUA CULTURE”.
